Announcement of 24 March 2020 concerning restrictions on the movement of persons on the Campuses of the Lodz University of Technology

Ladies and gentlemen,
Due to the escalating epidemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic, which causes COVID-19 disease, further restrictions on access to the campus of Lodz University of Technology are introduced on 25/03/2020.

Announcement No.2 regarding the Coronavirus epidemic of March 6, 2020.

Regarding the developing epidemiological situation connected with COVID-19 infections (pneumonia caused by the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus), I order cancelling departures on business trips abroad for our employees, doctoral students and students, as well the arrivals of visitors from abroad at our University, including doctoral students and students, in each case when cancelling the arrival or visit does not result in financial consequences or other serious negative effects, key for continuing cooperation with the given institution.

 1. An obligation for employees, students and doctoral students who have stayed outside Poland – they are obliged to stay at their place of residence for a period of 14 days starting from the day of return, inform their dean or the head of their unit about it, and follow the recommendations of the Chief Sanitary Inspector.

Announcement regarding student ID validity extension of March 11, 2020.

Dear Students, Regarding the current situation, we would like to inform you that the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland (PSRP) has received confirmation that an ordinance of the Minister of Science and Higher Education will be issued within a few days, extending the validity of student ID cards until May 31, 2020.
